| Thank you for your email and follow-up. I am in the process of selecting one of the several contractors I have spoken with. Without a doubt, the service you provide in his area is second to none. Again, I thank you and will let you know the final outcome once the project is completed. |

The master bedroom at our Cranehill project was spacious, but it only had a tiny closet. To rectify this problem the homeowners enlisted the help of a Contractor from Renovation Experts to build them a Walk-In Closet.
The first step was to allocate part of the master bedroom for the closet and build the necessary walls and frame in the closet door.
As a space saving measure the closet features a pocket-door. Pocket-doors are a great idea considering a traditional hinged door uses an average of nine square feet of floor space.

Finished project: Walk-in Master Closet |
|
A section of the room was annexed for the new Master Walk-In Closet
The walls were framed in and drywalled by a professional contractor from Renovation Experts.
| |
The wood for the closet was measured and cut, sanded, stained and finished in the garage.
The Oriental Ginger stain used is a water-based wood stain. |
|
The closet features lots and lots of shelving, which is a must for storing shoes, bags and sweaters.
The wood for the shelving is stained Oriental Ginger.
A variety of sections were created to accommodate full length items like dresses and coats, as well as shorter zones for shirts, skirts and jackets. |
|
One of the key elements to a walk-in closet is good lighting.
Here we have installed track lighting which can direct light to the various sections of the closet.
The large window sheds lots of natural light into this dressing room as well. |

One of the feature design elements of this master closet is a coordinating furniture piece.
The dresser from the master bedroom was sanded down and stained to match. |

The now finished dresser really becomes a focal point in the closet, making the whole closet look like custom furniture.
This also frees up space in the main area of the bedroom. |

Buying nice hangers keeps the closet organized. The wooden hangers we chose from Home Depot pull the elements of the closet together for a uniform look. |

The ample shelving and hanging sections allow both husband and wife to keep their clothes separate, organized and visible. Handbags are neatly stowed on the corner shelves shown here. |
The pre-screened contractor from Renovation Experts that designed and constructed this closet was Rod Nieforth.
