	Medallions - Once made from heavy cast plaster, now you can buy polyurethane foam medallions at a fraction of the cost. They add a wonderfully elegant look and can really make the ceiling fixtures shine.
	Pressed metal panels - Hugely popular in the Victorian era, pressed metal panels are once again making ceiling fashion with a variety of new decorative metal ceiling products. Tin is the most commonly-used metal, however ceiling panels are available in aluminum, copper and chrome, just to mention a few other options as well.
	Wood - The beauty of wood doesn’t just have to stay on the floor. Wood can look great on a ceiling also. Although in a smaller space the look can be more reminiscent of a cottage, when used in a larger space — especially one with cathedral ceilings — the look of wood is nothing short of sophisticated elegance.
